Release 3rd single and lyric video for “Angel of Fortune and Crime”
ICYMI, last week Deathstars released their 3rd single “Angel of Fortune and Crime” from the upcoming album “Everything Destroys You”.
The tension rises! The world´s biggest and undeniably best outfit sitting somewhere between the realms of industrial and rock/metal – DEATHSTARS – have released an atmospheric, fierce new track in the lead up to their eagerly awaited new album Everything Destroys You, which will be released on May 5th via Nuclear Blast.
Following two extremely successful singles – ´This Is´and ´Midnight Party´– the band presents us with an amazing lyric video for the dark anthem ´Angel Of Fortune And Crime´.
Frontman Whiplasher Bernadotte comments on the song: “For me this song has pretty clear and present Deathstars-DNA, but with some new bloodlines in it… I mean it’s a pretty straight forward groovy jet black tune, but with a certain vocal melody in the latter part to break the pattern completely. Almost like a piece of darkness with some hope to it, but without the hope of course, haha.”

European tour cancelled!
“Due to conflicting schedules we are forced to cancel the European tours in Jan-March 2023. This is due to a delayed album release, caused by earlier delays in the album production. The tour was originally booked for 2020, but due to the pandemic it was postponed time after time again. We’re now finally approaching the start of the next chapter, but the old unfortunately does not quite fit with the new. We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience this causes. All tickets will be refunded.
We will return to the European continent as soon as we have the new album out and can present you with the very best DEATHSTARS show. In the end this was a decision made because we want to give you our best and at the moment that is not possible. We have all waited this long, and it’s no time for compromise. Swedish shows moved to march 2023
Due to delays in the new album production the shows in Stockholm and Gothenburg are rescheduled. The new date for Gothenburg is March 10, and Stockholm March 11 2023. The Malmö show is postponed, a new date will follow. Tickets will be refunded. The band is sorry for the inconvenience this may cause, but hope to see all of you during spring next year.

DEATHSTARS – postpone their European Tour to late 2022 and early 2023
With the uncertainties of possible lockdowns and rising infection numbers, planning a Pan-European Tour as glam metal sensation DEATHSTARS have done is getting nearly impossible and a massive risk for bands around the globe. For this reason, the Swedes see themselves forced to once more postpone their upcoming shows – yet the time will come for you to finally witness the combo live on stage with the songs from their new, still untitled album that has been quietly in the making within the past years.
“It’s been a frustrating couple of years, yet because of too much uncertainty regarding the pandemic we need to postpone the European tours again. We of course regret to inform you this but it’s not in the hands of the band. We like to thank the fans for patience and hope to see you all during the upcoming shows”, states Whiplasher Bernadotte.
