A worthy replacement…
After Snowy Shaw unfortunately had to cancel his support, we started to look for another capable tour drummer. Finally two appropriate tour drummers have been found and they are going to be worthy representatives of the drumming caste.
Oscar Leander, a personal friend of the band, will tempt you to the world and sound of Deathstars. He will support us for the first 10 shows. After that the one and only Adrian Erlandsson (Cradle of Filth, At the Gates, The Haunted, Nemhain) is going to swing the sticks for BONE, pounding in your auditory canal.
Termination will await you... be prepared.

Greetings!
I am sad to announce that I will not partake in the upcoming European tour with Korn. Personal reasons are the main issue in this case and this is more important to me right now then a tour.
I hope you all understand this and dont throw a EMO fit. The drums will not suffer though since the extremly competent Snowy Shaw will be whipping skins and breaking sticks in my abcense.
And no, I am not leaving the band.

Deathstars in the Studio - 19 November 2007
On Monday 29th of October Deathstars entered Metrosonic Recording Studios in NYC to begin the recording of their new album to be released in spring 2008. This album will start another chapter in their history of vanity, darkness, blood and sleaze. The recording sessions will continue throughout November and December and the mix is set for January so get prepared for a 2008 filled with exploding Deathglam!

Deathstars to support Korn in Europe - 26 September 2007
We are proud to announce Deathstars have been invited to open shows for Korn on their upcoming European tour throughout January and February 2008. Deathstars will also be headlining a few shows on their own between the dates they perform with Korn. In total there will be 40 shows added. Deathstars again have blown their competition clean out of the water and walked away from the Metal Hammer Golden Gods awards with the title of "Best Newcomer". Whiplasher and Skinny attended to collect the prize. A huge thank you to all of the fans that placed their votes!

Karlsruhe Show Canceled - 19 April 2007
Deathstars have unfortunately had to cancel the Karlsruhe show at Katakombe.
This is due to technical issues at the venue and is unavoidable.
Deathstars send their deepest apologies to any fans who planned to attend this show.
The nearest show to this is Darmstadt - Steinbruchtheatre on 02nd May.

Leeds UK Canceled - 05 April 2007
Unfortunately there is some bad news, unavoidably the Leeds show has had to be canceled. This is due the new Leeds Rio venue being unable to obtain its license in time for the Deathstars show.
Everyone who has a ticket for this show should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
There is also good news though, there are several other shows close to Leeds listed below!
10th April - Sheffield - Corporation,
13th April - Liverpool - Academy.
15th April - Middlesbrough - Teesside University

SWEDISH dates added ! - 19 March 2007
Deathstars have just added their latest addition to the tour dates! They will be performing not just one show but two at their home venue Mosebacke on 3rd July! This cult venue will be hosting the first show for all ages at 3:00pm and then a later show with an age limit of 20 at 10:00pm.
There is also a new banner out for you to help promote Deathstars to win "Get in the Ring" post this on your web sites and myspace profiles to help push the band to win this event!

No luck with Greek dates - 15 March 2007
This time we unfortunately have bad news...
Today Cat Casino had an accident and has been hurt.
There is though a blessing in disguise, as it seems his hand is not broken, but he does have a badly sprained wrist/hand.
This now means he must take a break from playing guitar until he is back to health which should be at least in time for the forthcoming european tour.
Unfortunately this means that Cat is unable to play the upcoming Greek shows at the weekend and therefore Deathstars have been forced to cancel.
We all feel very sorry about this as the band were looking forward to visiting the Greek fans.
Our deepest apologies go out to all of the fans who were looking forward to these shows and also the promoters.
We will be trying to reschedule the dates and will keep you updated.
ITALY added ! - 15 March 2007
Deathstars will be performing their ONLY Italian show of 2007 at Gods of Metal Festival! (www.godsofmetal.it/). They will be sharing the stage with Ozzy, KoRn, Megadeath, Black Label Society, Type O Negative!

Greek shows rescheduled, full darkness over Austria, UK tour and then some - 23 Jan 2007
The two shows in Greece that had to be canceled because of the tour with CRADLE OF FILTH have been rescheduled: Saturday, March 17th - Thessaloniki, Rock Bottom and Sunday, March 18th - Athens, Underworld Club.
Austria will be exposed to a triple attack of double darkness when DEATHSTARS will rock the following venues together with THE 69 EYES: Vienna, Planet Music on March 29th, Graz, Orpheum on March 30th and Salzburg, Rockhouse on March 31st !
Then it's over the channel and onto a full-fledged, 12 dates UK tour (with a hop to Ireland in-between), and back to the continent for another two weeks of touring - see the upcoming shows section for all details on the already confirmed shows. Our special guest for the clubshows in April will be MORTIIS!

French dates canceled - 16 Oct 2006
Dear friends,unfortunately the French DEATHSTARS shows have just been cancelled by the French agency Garance Production. They decided to cancel all anounced shows because of DEATHSTARS supporting CRADLE OF FILTH on their upcoming European tour in Paris and Strasbourg.
Our apologies go out to the French DEATHSTARS fans – we tried to change it, but couldn’t. Please return tickets where you bought them. DEATHSTARS might come back to France in Spring 2007 for headliner shows - we will book these shows then over a serious company.

Whilst the boys kicked off the 48 CARAT DARKNESS TOUR in Padova (IT), we are happy to announce that DEATHSTARS will team up with CRADLE OF FILTH on their forthcoming European tour, starting November 12th in Tilburg (NL).So far, 29 shows are confirmed, check the upcoming shows section for all new dates!
Unfortunately, we have to cancel the gig at "Das Boot" and to reschedule the gigs in Rotterdam, Athens and Thessaloniki. We'll keep you updated!

The Kate Moss of Deathglam - Cat - has now become a full member of Deathstars. The band is pleased to see him changing clothes backstage and showing his slim and very young body next to the rest of the groupies.
Cat is an excellent guitarplayer with heart filled with deathsleaze and a body built for sex. Cat will visit a girlfriend close to you on the upcoming European tour.

Tour start is drawing near - 15 Sep 2006
Hello girls & boys!Well, the 48 CARAT DARKNESS tour is starting quite soon and we hope you are prepared to meet the beautiful DEATHSTARS at the clubs near your home! The band will present to you not only your favourite songs, but also lots of very special and limited merchandise, which you may only get on tour at their shows. the boys usually visit their fans after the show at the merchandise stall – so everybody who would like to meet them for a short "rendezvous" – you are welcome!
If you couldn't find a club near your home so far – do not become desperate. The 48 CARAT DARKNESS tour is still not finished – throughout the whole year 2006 the boys will go on touring, european countries like Finland, Sweden, Norway, Russia, Greece and Turkey are planned. We will keep you informed about that.

Paris gig moves to another venue - 01 Sep 2006
Two more shows for the upcoming 48 CARAT DARKNESS tour are confirmed: on November 7th, DEATHSTARS will perform at The Tunnels in Aberdeen, and on November 11th at The Engine Room Club in Brighton.
