So, after I finished Pride and Prejudice <3, I've read fantasy storybook Pasterz Upiorów (Ghost's Shepherd) by polish author Rafał Dębski. It was ok, but nothing special.
And now I just finished Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest. Oh, I love it! It's so delightfully sarcastic^^ I was laughing my ass of reading it.

Now next in line Austen's Sense and Sensibility.

Best play ever! I must have read it 20 times, and it still makes me laugh.

Just read a book called "Sister" and it was amazing. If you have a sister at all you should read it. Loved it.

Same here. It's my favourite Wilde's play.

Finished Sense and sensibility last night. It was quite boring tbh.
I'm waiting for some Wilde to arrive. Gotta buy something today to read in the meantime :roll:

Reading Sarah Waters' Fingersmith now, and I have to say if you like classics (say Bronte sisters) but then just something else, more like John Cleland but prettier, and you like that era, it's fantastic! It's a beautiful book, it reads just like the classics but is written in like 2002.. wow.

I will be reading the rest of her books!

From Goodreads;
Quote:
Growing up as a foster child among a family of thieves, orphan Sue Trinder hopes to pay back that kindness by playing a key role in a swindle scheme devised by their leader, Gentleman, who is planning to con a fortune out of the naive Maud Lily, but Sue's growing pity for their helpless victim could destroy the plot.

^ Wiki says it's Victoria-inspired - I'm so gonna see if I can find it! Thanks for the hint!
