^ I am planning to read it after "The farewell to arms", but I can not decide if I want to read it or not, because if it is like too romantic and sensitive book, there is possibility that I will not like it...

^ To Kill A Mockingbird? No, it's not romantic... not sure what you mean by sensitive, but... first, it's told through the point of view of a 8 years old girl, who is too young for any romance, so no, nothing romantic. And the whole conflict is far from romantic either. I'd give it a try, for sure.

I started reading American Psycho, but decided to quit after about one third, it was so giving me a bad feeling, too much cruelty, including animal cruelty. I expect cruelty against humans, is about a serial killer.. but to have him jump upon the front legs of a little dog and so crushing them, and leaving the dog like that, that's only one example of something I hated. So no more.
Picked up Robin Cook's Abduction, first time reading something by this author, is okay so far but haven't gotten far yet, is more a sci-fi book than his usual work.

Also got Vladimir Nabokov's Lolita today at the library, wanted to read that one for a while and couldn't find anything else.. so. ;)

Well it's been on my TBR list for ages, one of the books everyone knows exist, or everyone knows Lolita, but hardly anyone's read it. ;)

^ I have picked it because of school, I admit, but I was very very pleasantly surprised. It's hard to describe why I like it so much, but the style of the book might be the biggest reason.

^ I didn't finish Lolita. I thought it became horribly boring halfway through.

If it something you like, why not do it anyways?

@t: Currently reading Collapse by Jared Diamond. It is sometimes a little dry, but for being nonfiction it is really interesting. It puts science and history together, which is awesome cuz I love both subjects. Especially the history of ancient civilizations!

When I finish this, I want to read his other book (also nonfiction) called Why is Sex Fun? It is about human evolution and the evolution of sex... very interesting topic :P

I read "The Bell Jar" by Sylvia Plath since Saturday. She was a goddess. I am sure.
I cant wait to read again today, and re-read it in english too!

Well I have read 2/3 of Lolita today, and it's definitely a great read! It captivated me from the first few pages.. though now I am not very fond of the protagonist, but we'll see how it turns out. He's thinking he's being good to Lolita, while she's basically being held captive.. hmm.
