I am Welsh, but I have never been able to speak fluent Welsh. I have a very BASIC knowledge of the language. Right..um:

What are you implying? When it comes to joking about my nationality I'll play along with it, but whether what you were asking, was meant as offensive or not, I don't know..but if you've replied to this topic just to take the piss, and to critisize, then don't. Do I get called a leak? Well, taking into consideration of the fact that I live IN Wales, why would people of my own country call me a "leak", that would be hypocritical. Or if you mean people from other parts of the U.K, then no, and infact they haven't even brought up where I am from. And because I am from Wales, that isn't an issue as far as I'm concerned. I can't help being patriotic about where I'm from, but since my thread was posted in "A Place Of Different Languages", I am entitled to include the Welsh language, out of curiosity, to see how many people (Welsh/or not) give a genuine reply to the topic. So far, nobody has actually answered my question...It seems I may be one of the rare number of Welsh people, to have joined this site.

I have friends in wales and generally thats where i found out about the soldiers wore leaks under their helmets in battle so that they could be recognised! I'm not sure if thats just a myth though.

It would be great to add a Wolfram-Alpha translator of all the languages and small languages in the world. Because there are many programs that gives us the information mistranslated
