Deathstars have received a nomination for "Best Newcomer" in this years Metal Hammer Golden Gods award ceremony that takes place on June 11th (just after The Download Festival) They're up against
Cancer Bats
He Is Legend
Gallows
Abigail Williams

So as the biggest band in this catagory they have a very good shot at winning. This unfortunately is the only catagory they're nominated in.
But if you would also like to put in a vote for their record label "Nuclear Blast" it certanly can't hurt.

Aww the golden gods bring back so many memories of last year
me and Al annoying all the emos there by starting a mosh pit to Viking Skull also drinking lots with bands which is always fun lol also i told Avenged Sevenfold off for doing a shitty cover of one of my favorite songs and also that i dont like the vocals in the slightest lol
cant wait for this year

Last years award ceremony was piss poor compared to the other one's, have been to every one of them. Nothings topped the first one, well how many people can say they instigated pissing off Marilyn Manson :twisted:

i agree
last year was only fun because we made it fun for ourselfs lol
also the fact Travis one best drummer and we were all shouting that Dave LOmbardo should of won it lol
and how the hell did Satyricon win best underground band lol how are they underground lol
