Well I've never heard Brummies quite like that before........ And being a Midlands lass I've heard plenty of brummies in my time.
Where I'm from, which is very close to Birmingham we don't tend to say how are you all, its usually Ooroyt - and my hometown we add on me duck.

So the greeting is 'ooroyt me duck'

Hmmm, maybe this thread could be how to confuse others with our wonderful local dialect :lol:

Funny but I was doing a course today and ended next to a really cute guy and he was from Leicester so I got to hear the accent sooner than I thought after all!!

My local dialect is crap. You just CAN'T do anything funny or confusing with your bog standard southern English accent. You just sound like a newsreader who drops their Hs.
