i know andrew eldritch would probably kill me for it, but i downloaded "floodland" by the sisters of mercy on itunes...i have it somewhere at home in germany, but not here and didn't put it on my laptop unfortunately, so i bought it again since i rediscovered the band for me

well what can i say? one of my alltime fav albums..doesn't get more gothic than this...i would say this belongs in every gothic cd collection

I couldn't agree more :D I am so happy they have found a bit of their old sound again. Cause I really didn't like their little 'emo trip' on "Decemberunderground" much.
But I think "Crash Love" is a bit more edgy, and still with great melodies and melancholic lyrics. I am so in love with that album <3

The lyrics are much more like their old stuff. Or...hmm...I guess you could say it's a mixture between "Sing the Sorrow" and "Decemberunderground". Cause it's nothing like their really old stuff.
